How to Submit Your Shepard

 

Thank you for considering submitting your Shepard!  I will take good care of him or her. ;)   Please read the information below before actually sending in your Shepard!

 

I’m at the point now where we’ve gotten enough submissions that I can be a little choosy.  From here on out, I’m only accepting Shepards that are at least level 50, unless you have a save that’s fairly unique.  We’re really heavy on Liara lovers, both males and females.  I’ve been asked quite a few times for different variations of saves that involve killing Wrex on Virmire, so if you have one of those no matter the level, please send it in.

 

There are two files I’d like to have:

 

The first file to be sent has a name that looks something like this:
Char_01-60-1-1-5-2-1-2010-27-6.MassEffectSave

This file is required and I cannot post your Shepard without it.

 

The second file I’m requesting is your very last save you have before the Saren fight. Your autosave for that character will work. That file will be named something like (Charcter name)00_AutoSave.MassEffectSave or (Charcter name)00_QuickSave.MassEffectSave. Between these two, that will cover whatever someone will need to import your character to their game. I’m requesting this save so people can make their own Char file and could pick different Save/Kill Udina/Anderson choices if desired.  This file is not required, however.

The size of the files should be somewhere around 120 - 140k each They should be in your my documents\Bioware\Mass Effect\Save directory. If you're on Vista, it's (Your Profile Name)\Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect\Save.

It would be great to get more level 60 characters who have completed ALL (or at least most) of the sidequests in the game, and maxed either Paragon or Renegade

If you want the world to see your Shepard, it would help me out if you can send me a link where you’re hosting a picture.  I’ll host it if need be, but I will probably trim / convert it down to a smaller file size.  Realize that the people who download your Shepard can change the appearance of the Shepard, so the appearance doesn't really matter a whole lot to your audience.

In the body of the email, please answer the questions below. Note: some of the questions are based on what we know of the decisions that will carry over to ME2. If you don't want to know, don't read, and therefore, don't send me your save.   HOWEVER: PLEASE DO NOT PUT ACTUAL MASS EFFECT 2 SPOILERS IN YOUR DESCRIPTION.

 

Please help me out and don’t do the “copy/paste the list then just answer at the end of the question” method, and instead just typed out a quick but clear answer to each line. (See how I have all the saves formatted on the site.)  The greatest timesink for me into this site has been having to re-type or re-arrange people’s descriptions, so please take a quick look at any save on the site and make your text look as much like that as possible.  Thank you very much!

I really appreciate anyone taking the time to send in their save, but if your description is too messy, left out a bunch of information, done in all caps or otherwise difficult to edit, I will not be posting your Shepard.  I hate to be nitpicky, but trying to cut back on the time it takes me to work on the site every day.

-Is your Shepard Paragon or Renegade? (If you didn't max out either, let me know, too. Please indicate whether you generally picked Paragon endings to quests, renegade endings or did a mix of both. If you tried to be a non-racist renegade, mention that too.)

Background: (Earthborn, Spacer, or Colonist AND Ruthless, Sole Survivor, or War Hero)
Class:  (for those who care about continuity, though it's confirmed you can change classes near the beginning of ME2.)

Level:
Was your Shepard a completionist, even completing all mineral/Insignia/Matriarch Writings gathering sidequests and exploring every planet, doing every side quest? Or was this more of a "speed run" through the game?

 

Do you have Bring Down the Sky installed?

Do you have Pinnacle Station installed?

Did your Shepard:
 -Save Kaidan or Ashley?
-Romance (to sexytime completion) Ashley, Kaidan, Liara, or none? (Please note if you started to romance Kaidan or Ashley but left them on Virmire, since this might be important.)
-Kill Wrex on Virmire, or keep him alive?
-Save the Council or let them die?
-Kill or save the Rachni Queen?
-Treat Conrad Verner nicely (Paragon) mean (Renegade), or get him killed (Neutral)?
-Complete the UNC: Asari Diplomacy sidequest? (This is the one where the diplomat Nassana Dantius in the Presidium asks you to save her sister from slavers, but it turns out that her sister IS the slaver and you wind up killing the sister for Nassana.)
-Choose to allow the Alliance to conduct experiments on Nirali Bhatia's body? 

-Did you complete the Feros Zhu's Hope water/food/battery quests? Did you kill some, all, or none of the brainwashed colonists? 

Did you encourage Garrus to be more Paragon or Renegade-Like?
Did your Shepard pick Udina or Anderson for a seat on the council?
Did your Shepard take ALL of the party members along? If you left some behind, who?

If there's anything else unusual about your Shepard that you can think of, let me know. (ANYTHING you want to add can go here.  If you want to get insanely detailed about what your Shepard did in any particular quest or every single minor quest, feel free to put it here.  Or, nothing at all.)
